The acorn of an idea
- We've worked in the Life Insurance and Advice industry for many years and have seen more and more people who want to research and source their own Life Insurance.
- But currently it is practically impossible for customers to access advice quality products without going through a financial adviser.
- We thought - there has to be a better option! So, we created Keep Insurance Co to cater to self-servers like us.
- We also strongly believe in the value of full advice, at the right time, so we have partnered with financial advice providers to give you the right level of support when you need it.
Meet the founders
Keep Insurance Co is Dearbhla, Anthony and Stuart. We've been friends and colleagues in the insurance industry for a long time. In fact, D was instrumental in Anthony's marriage as wing woman for his wife!

Dearbhla Hannigan
CEO
D Hannigan has been working in the Australian Life Insurance Industry for 15 years. Her role as a senior project manager delivering strategic initiatives gave her insight across all aspects of the Life Insurance Industry as well as deep technical knowledge on system, security, and regulatory obligations.

Stuart Blackhall
Responsible Manager — Risk & Compliance
Stuart Blackhall is a senior finance executive with over 30 years diverse experience, having contributed significantly at executive and board levels across financial services including APRA regulated entities. Stuart brings a deep understanding and appreciation of the complex regulatory environment and obligations, both to customers and to the regulators.

Anthony Simpson
Responsible Manager — Financial Advice & Product
Anthony Simpson - with his background embedded in Life Insurance providers Anthony holds comprehensive knowledge of the insurer market, products and optimal product structuring. After more than 28 years of Financial Planning experience Anthony is extensively experienced in all aspects of Life Insurance and Advice.

How do I know I can trust Keep? +
Keep is licensed by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) under AFSL number 531680. As a financial services licensee, we must operate efficiently, honestly and fairly. You can confirm our licence by searching for Keep Insurance Co on the ASIC Connect registry.
Are there other companies that offer the same services as Keep? +
There are other providers who offer direct access to insurance companies, but very few give customers a meaningful share of the adviser commission back. Keep gives you the ability to manage your own insurance online and returns a large portion of the commission to you as cashback.
Do Keep provide personal advice? +
No. Keep only provides general advice and does not consider your personal needs or circumstances or make recommendations on the types or levels of cover you might need. Our tools and learning materials provide factual and general information you can use to help decide how much cover you and your family may need.
We do believe in the value of financial advice. If you want extra support, visit our help page to see the options available, including referral to an adviser who can provide hands-on support.

Keep Insurance Co can help you with general questions about life insurance products and processes, and we can refer you to an adviser if you need more support.
How do I make a complaint? +
If something has not gone the way it should, you can make a complaint by emailing us at admin@keepinsuranceco.com.au or through our Contact Us page. We will acknowledge your complaint immediately and aim to respond within 24 hours where possible.
If your complaint is not resolved within 5 days, it will be escalated to our Complaint Resolution Officer. Complaint resolution should generally take no longer than 30 days, and we will keep you updated if there are delays.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) at afca.org.au or on 1800 931 678. You can also read our dispute resolution policy.
